Ironman California races through region Sunday, 10-19

On Sunday, October 19 Ironman California race is an opportunity to see world class athletes up close, but will also impact roads and facilities along both sides of the river, so please be aware and choose alternate routes.

Road closures in West Sacramento include the Cabaldon Parkway (Tower Bridge), Riverfront Street, Ballpark Dr, Mill Street, Gregory Ave, South River Road and Village Parkway, and also rural parts of Yolo County south into the Clarksburg area. The West Sacramento Police Department, City of West Sacramento and the Ironman team are working closely to minimize impacts on the community.
