Today, Brooklyn's art-pop diva and nightlife superhero Ariana and the Rose welcomes listening audiences to 'The Breakup Variety Hour', her comical, irreverent, and sincere new concept album framed as a comedic auditory self-help guide through the stages of a breakup.

What initially started as a series of "piano chat"-style viral videos during the pandemic, blossomed into an interactive, hilarious, and emotionally vulnerable live show that got its start at a sold out performance at the legendary Joe's Pub in NYC a year ago. The new album is a recorded adaptation of the show, and precedes a new fall tour and return performance at Joe's Pub on October 15th.

Calling to mind the wonder of classic female-hosted variety shows (Cher's 70s program or the Carol Burnett Show), it's a hysterical yet moving one-woman show that bridges pop music, stand-up comedy and cabaret to make something healing and singular.
