Students, alumni, staff and faculty exhibit work at Reno City Hall

Artwork from Professor Jill AnnieMargaret for the Honeycomb exhibit

The Honeycomb Project, organized by Boise State alum Candace Garlock (MFA Visual Arts, '06), will open its inaugural installation at Reno City Hall, with an artist reception from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 2.

The project showcases over 500 artists from 14 states. Each artist created one or more hexagonal panels contributing their unique perspective on the honeycomb theme that serves as "a metaphor for the interconnectedness, collaboration and strength found within a community." In total the project includes over 900 panels.

The exhibition is scheduled at regional galleries through 2028 and will be exhibited at the Jean B. King Gallery, College of Southern Idaho, Herrett Center in Twin Falls in fall 2027. For more information visit the Honeycomb Blog.
