The Jensen-Olson Arboretum will be open Fridays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting January 2, 2026. Visitors are invited to enjoy the beauty of Southeast Alaska as the Arboretum transforms into a seasonal winter wonderland.
Access within the Arboretum will be limited due to winter conditions. Visitors are asked to remain on cleared pathways only, as deep snow can make it difficult to identify the boundaries of garden beds. Guests should use caution both when traveling to the Arboretum and while on the grounds, as paths may be uneven, soft, hard-packed, or icy, particularly in exposed coastal areas.
The Point Caroline Trail, located adjacent to the Jensen-Olson Arboretum, remains open year-round and is dog-friendly. Please note that dogs are not permitted within the Arboretum grounds.
For questions or concerns about walking conditions, call the Jensen-Olson Arboretum at (907) 789-0139.
