Council has adopted a new Contiguous Valuation Policy, providing greater clarity and consistency for local landowners.
The policy outlines when adjoining parcels of land used for a single purpose may be considered as one valuation for rating purposes. It explains when an application may be supported and what information applicants need to provide.
While final decisions remain with the Valuer General, the policy provides a clearer and more transparent process for applicants.
