FEFAC, the European Feed Manufacturers' Federation, is pleased to announce that registrations for the 31st FEFAC Congress are now open. The Congress will be held on 20 May 2026 at the Hotel Intercontinental Athénée Palace in Bucharest, Romania, organised in collaboration with ANFNC, the Romanian National Association of Compound Feed Manufacturers, on 19 and 21 May.
ANFNC President Iani Chihaia: "Next year's ANFNC Conference, 'Feed & Foresight 2026', captures exactly what our industry needs at this moment: innovation, collaboration, and vision to drive the sustainable transformation of Europe's feed and meat sectors in a time of rapid change in trade relations, supply chains, and regulatory frameworks. In this context, as the European Union actively pursues simplification and administrative burden reduction through concrete legislative packages, while keeping sustainability, competitiveness, and compliance at the forefront, these developments will profoundly reshape our industry. The ANFNC Conference will provide an essential forum for bridging science, policy, and industry in building a resilient animal protein value chain for tomorrow.
We are deeply honoured to co-host FEFAC's Congress, one of the most important events for the European feed industry. This collaboration carries special significance for us as a country with a dynamically expanding feed and livestock sector, increasingly integrated into both the European and global protein economy. The two events will be held at the Athénée Palace Intercontinental Hotel, a timeless symbol of hospitality and refinement in Romania, with a welcome reception at the Romanian Athenaeum - a venue that reaffirms Europe's cultural values and stands as a beacon of artistic excellence. I warmly invite all stakeholders, from feed manufacturers and livestock integrators to policymakers, researchers, and traders, to join ANFNC and FEFAC in Bucharest for the most exclusive and forward-looking feed industry event of 2026 in Europe. Together, we will identify the alliances and initiatives that will propel sustainable growth in the decade ahead.''
FEFAC President Pedro Cordero: "In a time of evolving policy landscapes and global trade challenges, the European feed and livestock sector is committed to fostering innovation and sustainability to enhance competitiveness and resilience. I warmly invite all members and stakeholders engaged in trade, policy, and innovation to register for the upcoming FEFAC Congress in Bucharest. Together with ANFNC, we will explore critical topics including innovation in animal nutrition, policy incentives for circular bioeconomy practices, and the EU and trade developments shaping EU feed and livestock markets. This event offers a unique platform to collaborate on shaping the future of European livestock production. I extend my sincere thanks to ANFNC and its President, Iani Chihaia, for co-hosting this vital dialogue and partnership."
