Meet Jeff Gustavson
Jeff Gustavson is the president of Chevron New Energies-a position he assumed in August 2021. In this role, he is focused on lower carbon solutions that have the potential to scale, including commercialization opportunities in hydrogen, power, carbon capture, offsets, and support of ongoing growth in biofuels. Gustavson also oversees Chevron's enterprise AI efforts focused on value creation, operational excellence, cost efficiency, and driving AI innovation across the company. Gustavson joined Chevron and its subsidiaries in 1999 and has held positions in Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Strategic Planning, Supply and Trading, Investor Relations and Upstream, with numerous assignments in the United States, as well as Canada, the United Kingdom and Venezuela.
