Southeast Ventura County YMCA 27th Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast
The theme for the Southeast Ventura County YMCA's 27 th Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast is "Hope & Peace." The breakfast brings together people of all faiths to pray for friends, family, government leaders, the nation and the world.
The breakfast is on Thursday, May 7, at California Lutheran University's Gilbert Sports Center in Thousand Oaks. The keynote speaker is CLU President Dr. John Nunes. Dr. Nunes will inspire the gathering with ways to incorporate the hope and peace message within the community.
The prayer breakfast is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and will also include speakers and spiritual and community leaders providing invocations and prayers.
