Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I have been working at W&L since January.

Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
I love the community at W&L. My colleagues and the students are all wonderful to be around and it makes coming to work so enjoyable.

Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
My favorite location on campus is the wooden footbridge. I enjoy walking through the trees and seeing the deer and squirrels.

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Rockbridge County, originally in the Fairfield area and I now live in Collierstown.

Q. What is the most adventurous thing that you have ever done?
A two-week road trip to Colorado was an unforgettable adventure filled with daily hikes and fly fishing in breathtaking landscapes.

Q. What's your favorite thing to do when you're not working?
I enjoy spending time outside. My family and I love to hike, camp and hunt.

Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
I would probably stay in Rockbridge County. I have traveled to many places, but I am always happy to be back here.

Q. Who most inspires you?
My son inspires me. At just four years old, he reminds me daily to slow down, to be present, and to find joy in the little things.

Q. What book are you reading now?
I am reading "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens.

Q. What is your favorite film (movie) of all time?
My favorite movie is "Twister."

Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
I visit Pinterest for any recipes or décor ideas.

Q. If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
I would choose Hillary Duff.

Q. Which historical figure do you most identify with and why?
Annie Oakley. She was a legend of marksmanship and helped prove women could shoot as well - or better - than men. A hobby of mine has always been shooting guns with my husband. And I've been known to shoot better than him, haha!

Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
Denzel Washington or Kevin Hart. They are both hilarious.

Q. What is your desert island food?
Pizza and ice cream.

Q. Tell us something most people don't know about you.
Growing up I always wanted to be a storm chaser. That is also why my favorite movie is Twister.
