Outward investments and profits of listed companies by 2026......


1. Outward Investments and profits from China:(amount in NTD)
(1) As of 2026 Q1, 1,214 listed companies (698 TWSE- and 516 TPEx-listed companies) had investments in China accounting for 65.91% of total 1,842 listed companies, a decrease of 10 companies relative to the end of 2025.
(2) As of 2026 Q1, the accumulated outflow of investments in China of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 2,557 billion and 248 billion respectively with a total of 2,805 billion, an increase of 15 billion from the end of 2025.
(3) In 2026 Q1, the profits from investments in China of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 139 billion and 6 billion respectively with a total of 145 billion. The total profits ranked the highest in record and a YOY increase of 29 billion.
(4) In 2026 Q1, the inflow of profits from investments in China of listed companies were 30 billion. As of 2026 Q1, the accumulated inflow of profits from investments in China of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 1,141 billion and 103 billion respectively. The total amount was 1,244 billion accounting for 44.34% of the accumulated outflow of Investments in China of 2,805 billion.
2. Outward Investments and profits excluding China: (amount in NTD)
(1) As of 2026 Q1, 1,381 listed companies (775 TWSE- and 606 TPEx-listed companies) had investments overseas excluding China accounting for 74.97% of total 1,842 listed companies, an increase of 11 companies relative to the end of 2025.
(2) As of 2026 Q1, the accumulated outflow of investments of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 10,458 billion and 888 billion respectively, totaling 11,346 billion, an increase of 363 billion from the end of 2025.
(3) In 2026 Q1, the profits from investments of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies were 281 billion and 15 billion respectively with a total of 296 billion. The total profits ranked the highest in record and a YOY increase of 54 billion.
