To enter the Congressional Art Competition, students submit entries to their representative's office, and panels of district artists select the winning entries. Winners are recognized in their districts, and the top winner from each district is recognized at an annual awards ceremony in Washington D.C., with those winning works displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students who reside in or attend school in TX-35.
