Gastrointestinal cancers are one of the most common types of cancers diagnosed. This is why screening is important. Wasif Saif, M.D., MBBS, medical oncologist and co-leader of the Gastrointestinal and Neuroendocrine Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, joined Local 4's Live in the D to discuss the different types of gastrointestinal cancers, the screenings to discuss with physicians and how getting a second opinion at Karmanos can provide additional treatment options, such as clinical trials.
