U.S. Chamber Endorses Rep. Mike Lawler for New York's Seventeenth District During National Bus Tour

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Mike Lawler for New York's Seventeenth District. The event was a stop on the Chamber's Opportunity Tour, a six-week national bus tour promoting free enterprise.

The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

"Congressman Mike Lawler is a fighter for his district and the free enterprise principles that make our country and local communities great. In Congress, he is dedicated to supporting policies that create opportunities for workers, families and businesses to thrive and making sure Main Street businesses have a voice in Washington. The U.S. Chamber is proud to join him in Putnam Valley today to show our support for him and endorse him for reelection for New York's seventeenth district. The Opportunity Tour is a part of the U.S. Chamber's New Fight for Free Enterprise initiative, a multi-year strategic effort to defend, protect, and promote free enterprise.

For six weeks, the Free Enterprise Express bus will visit the businesses whose ideas, products, and services help make communities stronger, more vibrant, and uniquely their own. The bus will travel to key states to drive the debate about what it takes for people, businesses, and communities to thrive. It is planned in partnership with state and local chamber members.
