New Brunswick Seeks Public Input on Future of City Parks
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (August 11, 2026) - A public meeting regarding the New Brunswick Parks Action Plan will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Unity Square Community Center, 81 Remsen Ave.
Organized in collaboration with the Trust for Public Land, the Rutgers University Center for Urban Environmental Sustainability, and the City of New Brunswick, the event invites community members to share feedback on key park issues.
Discussion topics will focus on potential park improvements, recreation and public programming, safety and maintenance, and the overall long-term vision for open spaces throughout New Brunswick.
