On Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, TidalHealth Nanticoke partnered with the City of Seaford to host its annual Pink Ribbon Walk, a community breast cancer awareness event featuring a candlelit walk from the TidalHealth Allen Cancer Center to Gateway Park in downtown Seaford.
At the park, participants enjoyed musical performances, inspirational survivor stories, remarks from TidalHealth Nanticoke President Penny Short and City of Seaford Vice-Mayor/Councilman Dan H. Henderson, a presentation by the TidalHealth Foundation, and a fostering of empowerment.
One in eight women will be told they have breast cancer. The TidalHealth Foundation's Sheila Zimmer Breast Screenings Fund helps patients afford essential breast care. Learn how you can support breast cancer screening and awareness in our community.
