Sustainability, Office of Monday April 13, 2026

The Office of Sustainability, the Sustainability Council and the Office of Community Engagement and Belonging invite all students, faculty and staff to attend the annual Sustainability in Service Symposium on April 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. in Donahoo Lounge.

This engaging, campus-wide event brings together students, faculty and local partners to explore how sustainability and service intersect in meaningful, hands-on ways. Come, learn directly from local service organizations about volunteer opportunities, community partnerships and impactful projects happening both on campus and throughout the surrounding area.

Whether you're passionate about environmental action, interested in community engagement or simply looking to get involved, this symposium offers something for everyone. Attendees will have the chance to connect with organizations, discover service opportunities and learn how small actions can lead to lasting environmental and social change.

In addition to informational tables and presentations, the event will feature free food, exciting prizes and interactive activities.

Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes, and students are invited to attend with friends or organizations. This is a great opportunity to build connections, earn service ideas and be part of a growing campus movement focused on sustainability, leadership and community impact.
