HONOLULU
September 2nd, 2026
Bank of Hawai'i today announced its recognition in S&P Global Market Intelligence's 2026 analysis of the nation's leading large-bank deposit franchises (banks with more than $10 billion in assets).
"Being recognized in this nationally respected analysis reflects the trust our customers place in us and the strength of the relationships we've built across Hawaiʻi and the West Pacific for nearly 130 years," said Bank of Hawai'i President and CEO Jim Polk. "As we continue to serve our communities, we remain committed to delivering the personalized service, financial strength and innovation our customers expect from Bank of Hawai'i.
S&P Global Market Intelligence's ranking assessed 146 eligible banks and thrifts using eight deposit-focused measures designed to evaluate the strength and effectiveness of each institution's deposit franchise. These measures included noninterest-bearing deposit levels, deposit growth, deposit efficiency, and cost of deposits, among other factors.
