ORO VALLEY, AZ - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce recently hosted U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ-06) for a roundtable discussion in Oro Valley, Arizona with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4th. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.
We applaud Congressman Ciscomani for working to ensure that the constituents of the 6th District of Arizona continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.
"Making sure Arizona small businesses understand how they and their employees can benefit from the new tax law is so important," said Jennings Imel, Vice President at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "Today's conversation was extremely helpful and underscores how good, pro-growth tax policy drives investment and job creation. We thank Congressman Ciscomani for his support on this issue and participation in today's discussion."
"Today's conversation was an important reminder that tax relief is not just policy - it is real relief for working families and small businesses here in Arizona," said Congressman Ciscomani. "When families get to keep more of what they earn, and when companies have more certainty through provisions like research and development tax relief, our local economy is stronger. The Working Families Tax Cuts Act is helping support innovation, job creation, and long-term growth in communities like ours. That is exactly the kind of commonsense support we should be focused on delivering. I'm grateful to the local leaders who came together for this discussion, and especially to the Oro Valley and U.S. Chambers of Commerce for helping lead such an important conversation."
"Tax and regulatory updates can be complex for anyone to navigate, especially small businesses that are already deep in the day-to-day of running their operations," said Kristen Sharp, CEO of the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce. "We appreciate Congressman Ciscomani and his team taking the time to help provide clarity and answer questions directly from our business community."
The U.S. Chamber's tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America's Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. To date, the Chamber has hosted over 90 tax roundtables, and these events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
