Laser Photonics Corporation(NASDAQ: LASE), a leading global developer of industrial laser systems for cleaning, marking, cutting, and other precision material processing applications, participated in the International Congress on Applications of Lasers & Electro-Optics (ICALEO) 2025, held in Orlando, Florida. The company attended the event in partnership with Quantum Technology, Inc., an established developer of electro-optical devices that power advanced laser systems and experimental research.
Elizaveta Smirnova, Marketing Director at Fonon Technologies, Sanjay Adhav, Senior Vice President of Technology at Quantum Technology, and Igor Vodopyanov, Vice President of Research & Development at Laser Photonics represented both companies and exhibited alongside other well-known laser technology companies across the nation. Together, the team showcased the companies' combined expertise in industrial laser innovation, automation, and precision engineering.
ICALEO 2025, organized by the Laser Institute of America (LIA),is one of the most prestigious gatherings in the global laser industry bringing together experts from research, academia, and manufacturing to discuss the latest advancements in laser applications, optics, and photonics. Over the course of four days, ICALEO 2025 featured a series of sessions and presentations from leading experts in laser science and engineering. Notable topics included innovation in directed energy, dynamic beam shaping, precision and ultrafast laser processing, and advances in digital processes for additive manufacturing.
During the event, the Laser Photonics and Quantum Technology team had the opportunity to connect with key industry professionals and potential collaborators. Notable meetings included Tom Klopcic, National Sales Director at Lasermet Inc., with whom we highlighted the growing impact of laser technology and the importance of developing proper laser safety equipment in accordance with the necessary state compliance regulations. We also connected with Jessica Wilson, Director of Economic Development for Central Florida, with whom we discussed potential partnership opportunities that can help support our company's growth through connections in academia, industry, and government, in-depth market data, internship pipelines and more.
In addition, the team engaged with faculty and students from the University of Central Florida's CREOL College of Optics & Photonics, one of the nation's leading institutions for photonics research and education. Aaron Eades, Director of Partnerships in Marketing and Communications at CREOL, provided valuable insight into potential internship and hiring opportunities helping to bridge the gap between academic talent and industry innovation.
