Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Registration Services Moving to The OttoApp

Beginning June 18, 2026, the City of Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department will transition its online registration system to The OttoApp, providing residents with a more streamlined, user-friendly experience for recreation programs and facility rentals.

From June 18 on, all registrations for recreation programs, camps, events, classes, and facility reservations will be managed through this new mobile and desktop software solution. Available for download via the Apple App Store and Google Play, The OttoApp offers enhanced mobile accessibility, simplified account management, and improved navigation to help residents more easily find and register for activities.

Additional features include household calendars to organize multiple registrations, team messaging for important updates, filtering by park location, and more. The move reflects the department's ongoing commitment to improving customer service and expanding access to recreational opportunities for the Sandy Springs community.

We are excited to introduce The OttoApp as our new registration and reservations platform, said Brent Walker, Director of Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks. This transition will make it easier for residents to connect with our programs and services while providing a more modern and efficient registration experience. Our goal is to remove barriers and help community members spend less time registering and more time enjoying our parks and programs.

Existing City recreation participants will receive instructions on how to create The OttoApp accounts. The department encourages residents to complete the registration process before upcoming registration periods to ensure a smooth transition.
