The 2027 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, taking place February 10-14, is focusing on a series of enhancements aimed at delivering greater value for exhibitors, attracting new and returning boat buyers, and strengthening the overall show experience.
NMMA and Informa Markets have been working collaboratively to introduce improvements for 2027, with a focus on reducing exhibitor costs, improving transportation and logistics, expanding industry networking opportunities, and increasing marketing investment and attendee engagement.
Among key enhancements for 2027:
-
Improved Transportation: A new water taxi route connecting Herald Plaza/Venetian to Maurice Gibb Memorial Park will help improve access between show venues, complemented by expanded peak-time shuttle service and improvements to existing routes.
-
Expanded Industry Networking: For the first time, Boating Industry magazine will host its annual Top 100 Dealer Gala during the show on February 11. The annual Industry Breakfast will feature an enhanced format and content, and the NMMA Member Lounge will return to the Miami Beach Convention Center during the opening days of the show.
-
New Buyer Experiences: Listening to consumer feedback for more entry-level boat options, the new Progressive Entry Point at Pride Park will showcase boats priced under $150,000, alongside a new Discover Boating education hub featuring boating experts and curated show tours. Additional highlights include a new Kids Zone, the return of the Windward VIP Lounge, live broadcasts of the Florida Insider Fishing Report from the show floor and expanded entertainment and lifestyle attractions.
-
Enhanced Ticketing: New Family Packs and Super Sunday discounted ticket packages were created to draw families and soften the impact of the Super Bowl, with boat show ticket sales launching earlier than previous years.
-
Increased Marketing Investment: Expanded marketing and PR efforts are underway to build awareness and drive attendance, including an earlier launch of digital campaigns, dedicated international outreach to Latin America and Europe, and new partnerships designed to extend the show's reach.
-
Exhibitor Cost Savings: New incentives and cost-saving opportunities were introduced for eligible exhibitors through the Informa Partner Program, along with an exclusive early hotel booking window for NMMA members to help address lodging costs and availability.
These enhancements reflect NMMA and Informa's ongoing commitment to strengthening the Miami Boat Show as the premier boating marketing place and gathering point for the recreational boating industry, and to support the show's long-term success.
