The event stems from the partnership between CEOforLIFE and Sirti Digital Solutions S.p.A., aimed at fostering networks of collective intelligence and promoting sustainable business synergies aligned with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The roundtable was introduced by Massimiliano De Carolis, CEO of Sirti Digital Solutions. On Italy's National Research and Innovation Day, the initiative brought together companies, institutions, associations, and the research community to define the current state and shape the future of key sectors for sustainable development, following the guiding principles of projects, legislation, and culture.

The main goal: to build a resilient digital ecosystem for energy, digital, transport, and telecommunications networks. Technologies such as IoT and Artificial Intelligence play a central role in monitoring networks in real time, anticipating failures, and optimizing operational flows.

The discussion focused on strategies to connect technological infrastructures effectively, efficiently, and securely, to the benefit of the national system. A highly engaged panel explored shared solutions to support the transition from the digital economy to the AI economy, addressing existing infrastructure challenges and contributing to the development of the new AI stack.
