Fischer Senior Apartments will Bring Over 100 Homes for Seniors in The Bronx

NEF is thrilled to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Fischer Senior Apartments, the latest affordable housing development from our partners at WSFSSH, Inc.
Located in the Highbridge neighborhood of The Bronx, The Fischer Apartments will bring 105 homes for seniors 55+, including 54 units for formerly homeless seniors. Most importantly, WSFSSH will pioneer an Enhanced Care and "cluster care" program model that will pool resident home healthcare services to empower seniors and allow them to age in place.
NEF's Tony Thesing worked closely with the team at WSFSSH on this innovative project as did Emily Chen, who attended and spoke at the groundbreaking.
