NORTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. - In a joint operation, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations, ICE Homeland Security Investigations and Virginia State Police arrested a criminal illegal alien from the Dominican Republic who was reportedly selling cocaine at a local barber shop. ICE Washington, D.C. officers and the Virgina State Police arrested Alis Deyvi Goris-Andujar, 38, after a brief foot pursuit in North Chesterfield Nov. 11.
A search of Goris-Andujar's residence yielded two illegal firearms. One was an AR-type rifle, and the other was a pistol with high-capacity magazines. ICE seized the weapons and processed Goris-Andujar for immigration violations, serving him a notice to appear before a Justice Department immigration judge.
"Alis Deyvi Goris-Andujar's arrest shows the strength of cooperation with our federal and state law enforcement partners," said ICE Washington, D.C. Field Office Director Robert Guadian. "Goris-Andujar represents a significant threat to our Virginia communities that will not be tolerated. He was unlawfully in possession of two firearms while allegedly selling poison in our community. We will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing criminal alien offenders from Washington, D.C. and Virginia."
Goris-Andujar illegally entered the United States on an unknown date, at an unknown location, without being inspected, admitted or paroled by a U.S. immigration official.
ICE and Virginia State Police officers arrested Goris-Andujar in North Chesterfield Nov. 11. He is expected to remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
