City of Riverside to Host Reno-Breaking Ceremony Saturday for César Chávez Community Center

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department invites the community to celebrate a new chapter for the Eastside neighborhood with a Reno-Breaking Ceremony for the César Chávez Community Center on Saturday (11/15) at 9 a.m.

Located at 2060 University Avenue, the event will mark the official start of the facility's long-awaited renovation, bringing exciting updates to a space that has served generations of residents. Attendees will have the opportunity to view renderings of what the finished renovation will look like and learn more about the project's positive impact on the Eastside community.

The event is open to everyone and will feature light refreshments and community engagement opportunities. Due to rain, event will be hosted indoors in the auditorium.
