Closure of South Sinclair Road for private development roundabout construction, July 20-Aug. 20

(COLUMBIA, MO) - Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 20, South Sinclair Road will close between Nifong Boulevard and Muirfield Drive. The closure is necessary to complete construction of a roundabout at South Sinclair Road and West Southampton Drive as part of a private development project.

As with the overnight closure June 29-30, northbound traffic on South Sinclair Road will be detoured via Muirfield Drive. Drivers intending to travel south on South Sinclair Road from Nifong Boulevard should follow the signed detour via Forum Boulevard and West Southampton Drive.

Electronic message boards will be placed in advance of the closure to notify motorists. Temporary traffic signs will guide drivers along the detour route.

South Sinclair Road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20.
