London-Dentons is advising KKR as international counsel on its agreement to acquire Gen II Fund Services, LLC from Hg, General Atlantic and other minority investors for a total enterprise value of US$5.1 billion. Gen II will be acquired through KKR's Core Private Equity Strategy. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in 2027.
Gen II is a leading fund administrator serving the private markets industry. It provides fund administration services to more than 275 investment managers representing over US$2 trillion in assets, alongside tax, compliance, treasury and technology-enabled solutions.
