Road Closure: 24th Street Road Closure beginning May 18, 2026

Alabama Power will begin powerline work along 24th Street between 15th & 16th Avenue and 24th Street between 21st & 22nd Avenue. The road will be closed Monday May 18th and is expected to last until Thursday May 21st or until the project is finished. A detour will be in effect routing traffic around the work. Dates and times are subject to change due to weather. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
