The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan took part in the Eurasia 2030+ annual conference of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB). investments, growth and new opportunities" at the plenary session

In his speech, Vahe Hovhannisyan congratulated the EDB on its 20th anniversary and highly appreciated the indicators of implementation of the current strategy, within the framework of which the bank's investments in the country amounted to USD 380 million, exceeding the five-year target by 30%. Minister Hovhannisyan emphasized that the EDB is financing interesting projects in Armenia in the fields of energy, agro-industry, and public-private partnerships.

The Minister touched upon Armenia's logistical milestones, the modernization of internal communication routes, including the construction of the North-South highway, the expansion program of Zvartnots Airport, and the goal of launching 5 industrial zones in the regions.

Concluding his speech, the Minister noted that the EDB is Armenia's strategic partner in developing complex projects and attracting long-term funds, and the bank's priorities are in line with Armenia's national development agenda.

The event, which also saw the signing of important loan agreements between the Eurasian Development Bank and a number of private organizations in Armenia, was another opportunity to strengthen partnership relations and continue constructive contacts.
