Join neighbors from across the Valley for the annual Regional Unity Walk on Saturday, Jan. 24, at Tempe Beach Park, 80 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe.
Each year, residents from Chandler, Gilbert, Guadalupe, Mesa, Phoenix and Tempe gather for this free community event celebrating unity, mutual respect and understanding.
The evening includes:
• A community festival beginning at 4:30 p.m. with music, food and family-friendly activities
• Performances by Dragonfly Arts, SambAZ and Erin Nelson Band.
• A youth engagement fair by the Mayor's Youth Advisory Commission , where teens can learn about ways to network with peers, give feedback on youth priorities and learn about youth-oriented programs.
• A one-mile walk starting at 6 p.m., beginning and ending at Tempe Beach Park
• Free t-shirts and food available while supplies last
All are welcome to attend. Whether you join us for the festival, the walk or both, the Regional Unity Walk offers an opportunity to connect with neighbors and celebrate the values we share.
