We will be helping till, weed, and maintain a community garden at New Sardis Baptist Church. The food is collected and shared with the local community including elderly residents who cannot access fresh fruits & veggies on their own. Please bring water, sunscreen, and clothing that can get dirty. If you have them, we also recommend bringing gardening gloves and shoes that cover your ankles. The garden is located behind New Sardis Baptist Church (7739 E Holmes Rd). You can enter through whatever gate is open-more often it is the one at the bottom of the hill. The garden is at the back of the parking lot. If you are having trouble finding us, no one is there, or you are unsure if the event is still happening due to the weather, please contact Drew Lancaster at 615-946-3024 or Sahil Patel at 931-227-8142. We look forward to gardening with you! If you are there on Saturday Morning and the gate is closed, please contact Tracy at 901-497-9430.
