Reform Party of Wake County Endorses James Bledsoe for Raleigh City Council

The Reform Party of Wake County is proud to endorse James Bledsoe for Raleigh City Council. This election will be held on September 9th. This will be the second time that the Reform Party of Wake County, North Carolina has endorsed James Bledsoe for city council.

In 2005, James enlisted to serve in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany as an Armor Crewman with the 1st Infantry Division, then as an Airborne Cavalry Scout with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. During his time on active duty, he was deployed to Afghanistan for fifteen months from 2007-2008.

In 2012, James joined the United States Army Reserve as a Combat Engineer while he continued to pursue his education. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice with minors in US History and Computer Programming. In 2019, he was deployed again to Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria as a Combat Engineer.

James moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2013. He is currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity at Wake Technical College.

As a member of the Raleigh City Council, he wishes to give property tax relief to disabled veterans and long term residents of the city, create fair pay for first responders, reduce housing costs by working to increase the supply of housing, and restore fiscal responsibility.

The election for Raleigh City Council will be held on September 9th.
