Frostburg State University's Department of Music, Theatre and Dance will present the Piano Studio Recital on Saturday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU's Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public; it will also be live-streamed, follow the link at www.frostburg.edu/concerts.
Piano majors will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's charming "Rondo in C Major, Op. 51 #1", Claude Debussy's alluring and mysterious "Danseuses de Delphes" (from his first book of Preludes), among other works. Also on the recital will be Music Education majors performing songs by Schubert, an original composition performed by the composer, and a two-piano eight-hand version of one of Antonin Dvorak's most popular works.
