New Whole Foods Market in Rockledge, Florida, to Open November 6

Rockledge, Fla. (Oct. 7, 2025) - Whole Foods Market will open a new 37,000-square-foot store, located at 2035 Viera Blvd., Rockledge, Fla., on Nov. 6, 2025. The store will open at 9:00 a.m. on opening day, and regular store hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily.

This Rockledge location will also be the first store in Brevard County and the debut location on Florida's "Space Coast." The new store's product assortment features more than 450 local items from Florida, sourced with the help of Dustin Kennedy, Forager for Local & Emerging Brands at Whole Foods Market.

Features of the new Rockledge store include:

• An array of certified organic, conventional and Sourced for Good produce, plus more than 20 local products, including salsas and dips from Sunset Salsa and fresh sprouts from Fullei Fresh.
• Specialty department dedicated to celebrating cheesemakers and artisan producers. Local items include fresh mozzarella from Mozzarita, guava jam from Gables Delight and dark chocolate from 5150 Chocolate Co. The cheese counter is overseen by trained cheesemongers who can offer recommendations for any occasion and create custom boards.
• Curated grocery section filled with exclusive brand favorites and local products, including guacamole from Glaser Organic Farms, orange juice from 305 Squeezed and Pistachio Chocotella gelato pops from Gelatys.
• Full-service seafood counter featuring grouper and red snapper from Greg Abrams Seafood, gulf shrimp and Key West pink shrimp from Cox's Seafood and Littleneck clams from Cedar Key Aquaculture Farms. All offerings are either sustainable wild-caught or Responsibly Farmed.
• Full-service meat counter, with butchers available to cut steaks and poultry to order. Features include ground beef, New York strip steak and Ribeye steak from Adams Ranch Natural Beef.
• Extensive selection of more than 135 craft beers and more than 530 Local options include Tropical Bay IPA from Biscayne Bay Brewing Company, Bench Life Lager from Green Bench Brewing Company and pilsner from Orange Blossom Brewing Co.
• A Prepared Foods department featuring made-to-order sandwiches, soup and salad bars and fresh sushi from Genji.
• Bakery department offering made-in-house bread as well as everyday favorites, such as Whole Foods Market's Berry Chantilly Cake and brown butter cookies. The department also carries a wide variety of special diet items. Local offerings include tres leches cake from Momma's Baked Goods, Midnight in Miami terrine from Gelato Fino Delicacies and Cinnamon Cashew Rugelach from Simply Delicious Bakers.
• Wellness & Beauty section featuring more than 75 local products, including batch artisan bar soaps from Lolablue, TrueFit protein powder from RSP Sports Nutrition and face and body care from Acure.

Opening morning, customers will enjoy complimentary coffee samples and bites from local suppliers. The first 300 customers in line will receive a limited-edition Viera tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon featuring savings up to $100 off.

In celebration of the opening, Whole Foods Market is providing a product donation to Nana's Children's Home via food redistribution nonprofit Florida Food Banks, which makes regular surplus food pickups from local Whole Foods Market stores to help prevent food waste and serve the surrounding community. This donation is a part of Whole Foods Market's Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which aims to enhance the ability of local food rescue organizations to transport surplus food to areas facing the greatest need. Whole Foods Market will also make a monetary donation to The Children's Hunger Project and Sharing Center of Central Brevard.

All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company's rigorous quality standards, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup and more than 300 flavors, colors, sweeteners and other ingredients commonly found in food. In addition, all beauty and body care products must meet the company's body care standards, which ban more than 240 commonly used ingredients, including phthalates, parabens and microbeads.
