Maputo, Mozambique - The European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) received today the visit from Spanish Ambassador in Mozambique, Teresa Orjales.
The Spanish Ambassador was welcomed by the Mission Force Commander, Commodore César Correia, at the EUMAM MOZ headquarters where it occurred a ceremony parade dedicated to members leaving the european mission and the celebration of the National Day of Spain (celebrated next sunday, at the 12 of october).

The visit reinforced the partnership and cooperation between the Spanish authorities and the European Union mission, which have shared from the outset common values, goals and commitments.

EUMAM MOZ is a non-executive mission, with a mandate until June 2026, focusing on the operational training cycle and maintenance, while providing specialised training to the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM). It has 83 military personnel from 11 nationalities, including Spain.
