Aviva Glaser to Serve as Associate Vice President of Agriculture, Grasslands Conservation

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Conservation advocate and agricultural policy expert Aviva Glaser will serve as the National Wildlife Federation's next associate vice president of agriculture and grasslands conservation. In her role, Glaser will lead the organization's efforts to recover wildlife and restore habitat on working lands, including working with elected leaders, partners and affiliates, and farmers, ranchers, and private landowners.

"America's private and working lands have an essential role to play in supporting wildlife and thriving habitats. Aviva's deep experience in agricultural policy and her relationships with the people and organizations working to restore grasslands, wetlands, and other habitats makes her an excellent fit for this leadership role," said Kim Martinez, Chief Program Officer at the National Wildlife Federation. "Glaser has spent her career working with multiple coalitions and advocating for bipartisan policies that strengthen conservation on working lands."

Glaser joined the National Wildlife Federation in 2010 and is the cofounder of the Biennial America's Grasslands Conference. She holds dual master's degrees from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and School of Public Health and completed her undergraduate degree at Oberlin College in Biology and Environmental Studies.
