Cary, NC - The Town of Cary and GoCary invite the community to celebrate Transit Employee Appreciation Day on March 18, a special opportunity to recognize the dedicated transit operators and staff who keep Cary moving safely, reliably, and efficiently every day. From early morning routes to afternoon commutes, GoCary's transit professionals help connect residents to work, school, medical appointments, and community activities. Transit Employee Appreciation Day offers a meaningful reminder that a simple thank you can make a lasting impact on the people who help keep the community connected.

How the Community Can Participate
Residents are encouraged to join in celebrating GoCary's team in several ways:

• Say thank you in person
  A kind word goes a long way. Riders and visitors to the Cary Depot are encouraged to thank a driver or member of the transit team for their service.
• Send a message of appreciation
  Community members can share a thank-you note or shoutout by emailing [email protected].
• Recognize transit staff on social media
  Residents can tag @GoCaryNC on Facebook or Instagram to recognize a driver or transit team member who made their trip better. Sharing appreciation online helps spread gratitude and awareness across the community.
• Create and share a personalized message
  Community members are also encouraged to design their own Transit Appreciation graphic using a Canva template provided by GoCary. Participants can personalize the template with photos or messages and share it on social media or print it to give directly to a driver or transit staff member.
