City Council Holds 2026 Housing Study Session

On Monday February 2nd the City Council held a study session on housing development to (i) clarify what project elements local governments can influence, (ii) identify the types of housing San Rafael wants to encourage, and (iii) present policy and process adjustments for City Council consideration. The City Council will hold a second housing study session in April focused on the City's affordable housing requirements.
