ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to begin resurfacing Missouri Route 13 between Daviess and Caldwell counties on Monday, April 13.
Traffic Impacts: Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane. Access to city street and business entrances along Route 13 will be impacted and may be closed. MoDOT will work with business owners to minimize impacts by working on one entrance at a time at any given location.
All work is anticipated to be completed by June 2026.
As a part of this project, crews will also be resurfacing U.S. Route 69 in Clinton County. Scheduling details will be shared after the completion of work on Route 13. Crews have already completed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements in Hamilton and Gallatin.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by always buckling up, keeping your phones down, slowing down and moving over in work zones. Know before you go and check what work zones you might encounter at traveler.modot.org.
