Downtown La Mesa Trolley Prioritization Project Survey
SANDAG, in partnership with the City of La Mesa, is exploring ways to make it easier to walk, bike, and connect to the Downtown Village and Trolley. With Trolley service expected to double by 2035, the Downtown La Mesa Trolley Prioritization Project aims to enhance safety, reduce travel delays, and improve access for all users. The study will evaluate three concepts, raising the Trolley tracks, trenching the tracks below street level, or lowering the street, to help keep people and transit moving smoothly in the years ahead.
