Starting January 2026, the AGH University's Knovel subscription includes Knovel AI, a research assistant which uses advanced artificial intelligence techniques to speed up and increase the accuracy of searches, and even more subject collections.
Currently, AGH University has access to 35 subject collections (thus far it was ten) including civil & mechanical engineering, materials & metals engineering, chemical engineering, Earth sciences, electronics, electrical & power engineering, properties of materials, biochemistry.
Along with books and conference materials the database contains information on the properties of materials such as chemicals, plastics, metal alloys, composites, optical glass and materials used in electronics.
In addition, Knovel offers access to interactive analytical tools: tables and spreadsheets, charts and diagrams, equations, and a unit converter.
For more information on Knovel, refer to the website of the AGH University Main Library.
