Students visit local news to highlight Boise French Film Festival

French and film students at the Boise French Film Festival in 2025

Students from the French club and an upper-division French experiential learning course joined the 4 p.m. KTVB news room this week to spread the word about the second annual Boise French Film Festival. The festival is a collaboration between French students and faculty in World Languages and in other disciplines across campus.

Each Wednesday and Thursday nights from April 8 to 23, a faculty member will present the feature film and lead a post-viewing discussion. The festival is free and open to the public, with snacks.

Screenings will take place on April 15 and 16 in the Special Events Center of the SUB, with final two screenings on April 22 and 23 in Riverfront Hall Room 105. For a full schedule of films and guest speakers, please visit the official event page or follow the French Club on social media. We invite everyone to come enjoy international cinema and participate in these engaging cultural dialogues.
