The Subsidies Committee, chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today approved 223 concessional loans managed by SIMEST, amounting to EUR 120 million, aimed at supporting internationalisation projects of 218 Italian companies engaged in investments in digital and green transition, participation programmes in trade fairs and events, entry into new markets, the recruitment of temporary export managers and the launch of new e-commerce platforms.
Support for internationalisation through the Geographical Measures continues as follows: EUR 40 million for 52 internationalisation operations under the "Africa" Measure, EUR 10.8 million for 24 projects under the "Latin America" Measure and EUR 5.5 million allocated to 7 operations under the "India" Measure.
With regard to export support contributions, five operations were approved under Fund 295 for a total amount exceeding EUR 5.6 billion, including two operations worth approximately EUR 3.8 billion to support supplies in strategic sectors and three operations amounting to approximately EUR 1.8 billion to support exports of capital goods to Türkiye and Brazil.
Finally, in the area of equity investments, an intervention of EUR 3 million was approved to support the development of an Italian start-up operating in the technology sector.
