Lane restrictions on Thickson Road North in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Thickson Road North from Crawford Street to Dundas Street East in the Town of Whitby due to a watermain break.

When: Currently ongoing and will be in effect until the watermain repairs are completed.

Where: The southbound lane on Thickson Road North will be closed from Crawforth Street to Dundas Street East to maintain the flow of traffic.

Why: To safely repair the watermain break.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.

Businesses and residents in the area of Thickson Road North, Crawforth Street and Dundas Street East will experience a temporary water service interruption or low water pressure during the repair.
