President Stubb in Washington
President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb attended the funeral of Senator Lindsey O. Graham in Washington, D.C., United States.
The state funeral service for Senator Graham was held at the Washington National Cathedral. "He was a true transatlanticist and a staunch supporter of NATO and Ukraine. We worked very closely together," President Stubb said.
During the visit, President Stubb also met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and attended a breakfast meeting with US Senators Jeanne Shaheen, Jack Reed, Chris Coons, Jim Risch and Roger Wicker.
Following the ceremonies, President Stubb attended an evening meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine and US. senators at the United States Capitol.
