Arbor Day is fast approaching! Urban Forestry and APANO have lots of fun activities in store for community members. But we need help from the community to make sure that event day goes smoothly. We are looking for volunteers to help support event management and special tabling activities. Here are some ways to get involved:
- Event setup
- Event breakdown
- Tree ID practice table
- Arts and crafts table
You can learn more about each of these on our events webpage.
In addition to these opportunities, Arbor Day will also feature:
- Food from beloved local vendors
- Performances by community dance groups
- Bucket truck rides with Urba Forestry arborists
- Art stations led by culturally specific community organizations
- and, as always, tree planting.
