Logistics Property Company Breaks Ground on 217,758 SF Build-to-Suit Development at CityPark Logistics Center

Logistics Property Company, LLC (LogiPropCo) has leased 217,758 square feet of build-to-suit warehouse space at CityPark Logistics Center, Building 7 in Missouri City, Texas, with Standex GRID / Amran Instrument Transformers (Standex GRID / Amran). Standex GRID / Amran will use the space as both a warehouse and manufacturing facility. CityPark Logistics Center is a 98-acre industrial park that includes five fully leased buildings totaling more than one million square feet.

Construction on the new facility is underway, with an anticipated completion in Q2 2027. When complete, the cross-dock building will feature a 32-foot clear height and ample car and trailer parking. The CityPark location is one of the last large development tracts with direct access to Beltway 8 in the Southwest Houston market, offering proximity to Highway 90 and a strong local workforce.

This new building will be Standex GRID / Amran's largest North American location, reflecting the growth of their brand and consolidating their existing Texas operations. CityPark Logistics Center was selected for its Southwest Houston location and its ability to accommodate a layout designed to meet Standex GRID / Amran's office, production, and manufacturing needs.

"We are excited to partner with Logistics Property Company on this state-of-the-art facility, which will allow Standex GRID / Amran to expand our manufacturing of instrument transformers-a critical component of grid infrastructure," said Bhargav Shah, President of Standex GRID, U.S. "Bringing five of our Houston-area locations together under one roof not only positions us for future growth but also reinforces our commitment to supporting the local community and creating high-quality jobs in the region."

Aaron Martell, Executive Vice President, Central Region; Mark Redlingshafer, Vice President, South Region; and Wilson Goode, Senior Vice President, Construction, were supported by Cushman & Wakefield's Beau Kaleel and Brooke Swerdlow in the transaction. Standex GRID / Amran was represented by Steve King and Wesley King of CBRE.

"We are excited to break ground on our newest build-to-suit development at CityPark, leaving one final site remaining," said Redlingshafer. "The support and partnership of Missouri City, Powers Brown, and Pape Dawson were invaluable from the planning process through permitting, allowing our team to secure permits within one month of lease signature."

The general contractor is Burton Construction, with Powers Brown as the architect and Pape Dawson as the civil engineer.

CityPark Logistics Center is one of several LogiPropCo developments in Texas, where the company has more than 6 million square feet of industrial space owned and under development. CityPark has one build-to-suit site remaining, which can accommodate up to 225,720 square feet at Building 6.
