City of Henderson Completes Eastern Avenue Roadway Rehabilitation Ahead of Schedule
Resident Feedback Helped Shape Project
HENDERSON, Nev.(Sept. 29, 2025) - The City of Henderson is pleased to announce the completion of roadway rehabilitation along Eastern Avenue from Horizon Ridge Parkway to Sun City Anthem Drive.
Residential feedback on roadway conditions in this area played a key role in shaping the improvements, which include ADA-compliant sidewalk ramp upgrades, new pavement striping, utility relocations and other enhancements.
Originally scheduled for completion in November 2025, the majority of work was finished ahead of schedule to minimize impacts during the 2025-2026 school year.
Project improvements included:
- Pavement rehabilitation
- Sidewalk ramp assessments and ADA-compliant upgrades
- New pavement striping
- Upgraded street lighting
- Signage upgrades
- Utility relocations
- Water valve and service improvements
