Budrys to meet with the Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Romania, Finland, and Türkiye in Vilnius

On January 15-16, on the sidelines of the Snow Meeting, the head of Lithuania's diplomacy, Kęstutis Budrys, will hold bilateral meetings with the Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The meetings will focus on issues of political, economic, and cultural cooperation among the countries, joint activities within NATO, ensuring regional security, support for Ukraine suffering from the Russian aggression, use of sanctions, Russia's accountability, and other important issues of mutual cooperation.

The quadripartite meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Lithuania, Estonia, Türkiye and vice-minister of Latvia will also take place on the sidelines of the Snow Meeting. It will focus on cooperation between the Baltic states and Türkiye to ensure the security of NATO's frontline states, preparations for the Alliance's summit in Ankara, transatlantic cooperation, support for Ukraine, ensuring a just and sustainable peace, and relations between the European Union and Türkiye. The Ministers will also discuss the situation in the South Caucasus and Middle East regions and other relevant items on the international agenda.

The Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Finland, Romania, and Türkiye will take part in the Snow Meeting in Vilnius, which is held for the nineteenth time this year. The Snow Meeting is a premier security policy event in Lithuania with a long tradition that gathers foreign and security policy experts annually.
