Dandy-Con, Greater Dandenong's much-loved comic and pop-culture festival, returns on Saturday 11 April 2026 between 11am-4pm, bigger than ever!
This free, all-ages event fills Dandenong Library, Drum Theatre and Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre with a full day of fandom, creativity and community fun.
At Dandenong Library, visitors can browse lively stalls of graphic novels, merch and original art exhibitors including Next Level Games Dandenong, Alternate Worlds, SCAR Studios and Sabina Wills.
Creative sessions will run with drawing workshops, tech activations by Chisholm Institute TAFE, clay-making and tabletop roleplay, alongside photobooth moments, facepainting, cosplay rovers and arcade machines.
Harmony Square will come alive with Urban Play by RMIT and a 16-player gaming truck offering fast-paced multiplayer action.
At the Drum Theatre, a 518-seat state-of-the-art venue, fans can explore the Pixel Play Lounge with indie games, Magic: The Gathering and a live on-stage demo. Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre hosts immersive Dungeons & Dragons adventures inside the atmospheric Maze exhibition.
The festival closes with a show-stopping on-stage cosplay competition at the Drum Theatre, followed by a raffle for visitors who complete the Dandy-Con passport scavenger hunt.
Costumes are encouraged, creativity is celebrated and entry is completely free.
